The twenty year anniversary of Army of Darkness passed yesterday. A comedic yet action-packed dive into a fantasy realm that pulls no punches in horror as it does with tongue-and-cheek moments. I salute you, Bruce Campbell.. for a job well done that’s still as fresh in our minds and hearts as the minds and hearts you’ve ripped out in this movie. Mostly limbs. I can’t remember. A foolish, salty bravado lead character in a story that demands for theatrical action, dark comedy (and bit a sugar) – How can you lose?! This is a cult classic that will keep entertaining me for another twenty years.
